David Sedaris Richmond Concert reviews
Pit seats are SUPER uncomfortable
David Sedaris is awesome and we love his shows! This time we sprang for the “best” seats in the house, second row pit seats. They were atrociously uncomfortable, small, no room for shoulders, we all had to alternate leaning forward in our seat or slightly sideways to fit (and we are normal sized people - I felt so badly for larger people!). It’s unfair of Memorial Auditorium to cram so many seats into a row when only a child could sit comfortably enough. There need to be at least 2 fewer chairs per row so that at least average shoulder width can fit. I ended up at the chiropractor two days later after concocting myself into an uncomfortable seated position for two hours. Nothing against David, this is all about Memorial Auditorium and a plea to management to use more common sense and common courtesy!
